Turning south

At the distances in Tasmania unlike the in the outback are small I travelled to my next stop St Helens the long way continuing along the top before turning south along the coast, ending at St Helens where I stayed for 4 nights exploring the district and coast.
Here I visited the sister of a good friend that Carol once worked with in Sydney, I also managed to find some local waterfalls and traveling further down the east coast to Bicheno visiting beaches on the way, then going over Elephant Mountain fortunately I did not have the van on for this trip as drivers around here like to be on my side of the road no mater which way they are going.
Then Fire broke out near Dianas Basin and headed to Stieglitz Beach a little too close for comfort, I was leaving the next day which I did early as I was a little concerned the road I was to take might be closed because of the fires. I headed through St Marys, Campbell Town to Ross where I stayed four nights to explore the area vowing again to bring Carol back here once she was in Hobart, moving on to Richmond through Oatlands for one night then settling in at Hobart for 22 Nights.
