Ouse Bothwell Trip

And later Hamilton.

I was in deep dodo with this trip as it was originally just a trip to Hamilton via Ellendale and the Dunrobin Bridge, then on to Hamilton.

This is where it went so wrong, once we crossed the Dunrobin Bridge instead of heading to Hamilton, I took a “short detour” to Ouse then as side trip to Bothwell, a mistake, as by the time we finished in Bothwell we did not have enough time to see any of Hamilton to add to my error I said to Carol “and still we did not see Hamilton”

That’s when I knew I was in “DEEP DO DO” we did how ever catch up with the cousins who had by now moved to Gretna.

This meant a second trip with NO side trips direct to Hamilton to try to redeem myself.
