Granville and Trial Bay Trip
It was Need rather than sense that saw the harbours at Granville and Trial Bay being built. No one in the right mind would think that these locations would make safe harbours as they are both very exposed
the only reason I can see for these harbours was the need to transport minerals out and supplies into the mining communities and as soon as other transport options became available or the cost of production made the mines unprofitable the need for these exposed harbours diminished leaving these locations to become delightful holiday fishing communities.
