New Norfolk

Originally I did not want to explore in the direction of New Norfolk as it was not very far from where we were staying at Left of Field later in our trip but Carol convinced me that it would be a good day out (we later revisited New Norfolk later) here I was very disappointed in the vandalization of the heritage and even some of the locals agreed that the local council did not respect the heritage of the town  many facades were either butchered or covered up, so much was lost.

To their credit there is much effort being put into the restoration of many of the older building away from the commercial area for example the convict Asylum and utilising these building in a modern way while still honouring their heritage.
