Mount Wellington

We visited Mount Wellington twice, the first time it was rather overcast and hazy, the view was still very impressive. On the way to the top, we did notice what looked like a waratah but it was nowhere near as full a flower as the ones in NSW.

On the second trip up the mountain, I kept a better eye open for them but only saw a few bushes where I could stop and yes, they are a waratah but a Tasmanian Waratah smaller than the NSW one.

On reaching the top the difference in the vista was remarkable muck clearer and we could see further.
