Burnie

Leaving Stanley, we headed east along the north coast almost to where I started to Burnie
My impression of Burnie unfortunately is a little unfair, usually when we arrive in a new town the first thing we do is go to the Tourist Information Centre to obtain the information on the local attractions, in Burnie unfortunately the council in its wisdom only has this centre open when there is a cruise ship in port, this was not the case during our time here. In fact, we were able to obtain more information in Wynyard (Unfortunately it was a little out of date which was acknowledged as they had been trying to obtain new information from Burnie council for quite some time)
To actually complete my lap of Tasmania required a visit to a town to the East of Burnie, Penguin and Ulverston. Penguin proved to be an interesting town and I was glad to revisit. Continuing east through to Don River a visit to the Don River Railway put the icing on the cake for this trip
