Again we picked a time when there was something in in Rockhampton to fill the local caravan parks, I found this out before we left home so I booked a ‘Hip Camp’ outside of Rocky at Gracemere a small but vibrant town about 15km on the Mount Morgan side of Rockhampton which suited us well.

Mount Morgan was not the only place we visited while at Gracemere we explored the district this tile including places like Banana, which is not named for growing the fruit but for a well-known Yellow Bullock that was named Banana, and Biloela.
