To Bowen

Wanting to break up the journey a little more as we had time on our side we stayed in Bowen for 3 nights wanting to explore a town that we previously only passed through.

Bowen as a town, is much like any other coastal town in Queensland, except it is one place on the East Coast where you can photograph a sunset over water (Bowen claims it is the only place on the East Coast you can do this But!!! I dispute this.)

Our stay in Bowen also allowed us to explore the small towns of Collinsville and Scottville both old Mining towns
