Day One to Coffs Harbour
An easy drive today which we have done many times before, usually going past Coffs Harbour but this time it will be to stay here, the last time I stayed in Coffs Harbour I was still in primary school travelling with my parents camping in a tent (This was to be the last trip using that tent thanks to a storm right here on the cliffs of Coffs Harbour,
apart from that midnight storm which all but destroyed I have fond memories of that visit.
What will this visit over 60 years later bring.
This was to be our first stop of two nights, we had often passed through but never stayed to explore, but when booking the early stays I ran into a problem in that the preferred park did not allow Mon Chéri to stay so I passed on this booking aiming to return to find a place that would allow her to stay (My First error for this trip).
Forgetting to return to booking our stay caused a problem as this was a time when all local parks would be rooked out due to an event happening at the same time, we were forced to travel to Woolgoolga to find a park that was not fully booked and they could only give us one night, and it was already half an hour North of Coffs Harbour, not Ideal but it was getting late so we stayed, and after a short discussion on what to do next it was decided to stay at Coraki with Linda and Len the next day if they could have us lucky for us they could.
Again we just passed through Coffs maybe next time we will stay.
