Alpha
After one of the roughest roads I have travelled in a long time we arrived at Alpha, and I was starting to wonder about the condition of the roads yet to come as they had more water over them during the big wet that was an inland sea moving southwest through channel country
A two night stay so that Carol could spend whatever time she wanted exploring the Museum. The Museum was in an old theatre and was supposed to contain old theatre memorabilia which is one of Carols interests.
While in Emerald we were also invited to try the coffee at the local café, which we were assured was the best barista coffee within 166km radius, (The forgot to mention that it is the only barista coffee within that same radius) the coffee was very good and used a coffee we had not heard of before dimattina coffee. That was one win anyway, as for the museum, it is a good thing it is free as it only took Carol about 15 minutes to see all she wanted, this from a person who spends all day reading the print off labels. Two day was way too long.
This was the 3rd park that was managed by you guessed it South Africans.
