Day Seven
Macona Inlet to Happy Bay
(Via Unsafe Passage and South Molle Island)
Our last full day of sailing we were all running out of film in our cheap waterproof throw away cameras by now so it was just sightseeing day. We had planned to return to Happy Bay for the night so we would have a long sail back to the marina on our last day in an effort to reach 200 nautical miles of “Sailing”.
The plan was to sail south past South Molle Island rounding it then heading north to go through “Unsafe Passage”, the name had intrigued Bruce the whole time we ere there and he wanted to say we had passed through it.
From there we would stop off at the resort on South Molle for something to eat that we did not have to cook ourselves and maybe an ice cream something we did not have on board (no freezer) then continue on to Happy Bay and a general clean-up of the boat in preparation to handing it back the following day
