Day Three

Happy Bay to Butterfly Bay

After a good nights sleep and a hearty breakfast we decided to slowly head up to Hayman Island then on to the anchorage of Butterfly Bay at the northern end of Hook Island.

The day went well with all of us taking turns at the wheel, we stopped of at Blue Pearl Bay away from the resort on Hayman Island, we dropped anchor and started to explore the underwater world before having a late lunch and moving on to Butterfly Bay hoping we could see why it was called Butterfly Bay, but alas we did not find them, and that was not our only bad luck that night.

Col, Bruce and I slept well that night but poor Andrew was kept awake by the “Slosh Slosh” of the water in our fresh water tank which was under his bed, it appeared Butterfly bay was a bad choice for the night
