Broken Hill

The trip from Emmdale to the Hill was reasonably uneventful, we did stop briefly at Wilcannia but as this was to be a stop on our return we did not do too much sightseeing.

We arrived at the HILL and quickly booked into the caravan park, after which I looked in town for a replacement water pump as I had been informed that at Tibooburra I could NOT hook up to Mains water so I needed the pump to access water, this proved much easier said then done, there was not a caravan spares place in town, I did manage to find a business who said they could have one over night from Adelaide! (Ha Ha), but when we went to order it the truth was a little different, their Adelaide supplier did not have one so they turned to a Melbourne supplier all good till I found out they were using Australia Post, I knew at once we would not get the pump in time even though we had extended out booking from 3 nights to 7 nights. and although they were confident we would have it on Friday when I checked they informed me it would not arrive till Tuesday and we could not extend our stay beyond Saturday Night so no pump, which meant no going further to Tibooburra
