Broken Hill - Day Four

A day of culture visiting the museum, RFD Service base, and other historic sites around town, It was at the Museum I almost vowed I would never visit another rural as most of the exhibits except some of the mining and rail exhibits were from My Youth (Some I still have and use) so much so that I began to feel like a Museum Piece myself. Yet there was nothing on one of Broken Hills Most famous people (June Bronhill)

We found out more on the only WW1 action on Australian soil, an attack by two “Turks” on the Picnic Train out to Silverton (1915 Picnic Train Attack and White Rocks Reserve - Wikipedia)Visiting these sites
