Day Two – Gilgandra

Reasonably early start as there is an over five hour drive to take us to Gilgandra and Carol wanted to be there early enough to meet up with family for the first time since her father had died. Lunch was had on the go something light before booking into the Gilgandra Caravan park for an overnight stay. We unhooked the van before visiting Carols Aunt at Cooee Lodge where Carol’s cousin was able to join us it was then we were warned NOT to travel via Warren as the road would most likely be closed because of water over the road,

We retired reasonably early as we now had a longer day on front of us to reach Cobar.
