Like the last trip into China Jenny again offered to take me to my next destination, this time right to the Good View Hotel where we had booked a room close to the swimming pool. Once there we said our good byes, and we settled into our room a distance from the lobby (this is actually a resort not a one building hotel), I looked out the back door to the room and saw that there was a little patio then a gate and the pool, I rang Kyra and told her to come and bring her Swimmer, ,I would meet her at the lobby.
This hotel is within walking distance from the town center and she knew the location well but had never been there.
After our swim it was time to go into town for dinner only Sophia was to join us tonight, tomorrow we were to go onto Yazmin’s home for a “Hot Pot” which Carol was looking forward to.
In the morning Sophia and Kyra met us in our hotel room and we set out to explore what we could using our legs and taxies (quite cheap in China when you are a local), we even went ten pin bowling. When the time arrived, we moved on to Yazmin’s place for dinner unfortunately during the day little Johanna started to feel very uncomfortable with an ear infection, so dinner did not really happen as she had to be taken to the Dr.
I was however grateful that I could show Carol where I stayed the year before and again see Lee’s family who I met in 2017.
The following day Sophia had arranged to take us to out train to Xiamen, this time I could have Coffee with her and the driver an friend of Sophia as being foreigners we could take one person each into the waiting area.
