Days Twelve to Fourteen

Evens Head

After leaving the Gold Coast we headed back to New South Wales this time following the coast, on the way we were to catch up with family at Suffolk Park then complete the journey to Evens Head and settled in for the night.

The following day we explored the district and arranged to meet another family member who had been affected by the floods in Coraki this was to be at the local Bowling Club which we had not problems finding it was right near our van; good I thought I would be able to relax and have a drink or two and not have to drive.
The day was reasonably relaxed as was the next we did not know the district so we just followed our noses to Iluka to see what we could, we even found a place for MM to have another swim.
