South West Rocks

 A stop for Carol to reminisce some of her childhood holidays but South West Rocks could also be called Grey Flyer Capitol as they were everywhere, it even had Mon Chéri on guard to prevent them coming up to the caravan

Trying to reconcile 50 year old memories with today’s actualities proved difficult as the weatherboard and fibro beach shacks are no longer there have been many changes to this once quiet town.

We did manage to visit the Trial Bay Goal and even here there were changes gone were some unwanted smells though even here the Grey Flyers were abundant

From the gaol we proceeded to Smoky Cape Lighthouse and even here the flyers had taken over even having a private area giving then exclusive views down the coast.
