Motorbikes
Well “Pretend” motorbikes as most are only “125” are used for everything from “Taxies” to “Taxi-trucks”
I have seen four adults on one of these bikes and while this was not common (or legal see previous pages) three adults or two adults and two children was common.
In the following Photo gallery you will see some common sights, look carefully at the helmets as they are made of the same material as our “Toy” “Bob The Builder” helmets for children here in Australia, they do not meet Australian Standards
Now like in Australia helmets are compulsory so the Taxi Bikes have them for their passengers but who knows who wore them last or if their hair was clean? So girls with clean long hair can often be seen holding the helmet over their head so it does not touch their hair!
As to the Taxi-truck comment, I have seen a TV (the old CTR type) carried on the back of a bike as well as newspapers, I have also seen the Taxi Bikes used to “PUSH” 3 wheeled cycles with heavy loads to where they are going.
