Venus Bay

Upon leaving Coffin Bay we were lucky enough to grab some time in Venus Bay, I say lucky because all the parks since the Yorke Peninsula, seemed to be fully booked, which I was told was unusual for this time of the year. (this situation continued all along the coast all the way to Perth which caused a rethink of the plans)
Venus Bay is only a small town and a little out of the way but should not be missed as there is plenty to see and for those into Sea Food/Fishing plenty to do and taste.

Before we arrived at Venus Bay we visited the Talia Caves, unlike caves like Jenolan, these are not the limestone caves with stalagmites, but caves carved out by the waves of the ocean and the elements, (a taste of things to come later) and also Murphy’s Haystacks (Don’t try to feed these to any animals the might have trouble digesting them.)
