The Bus Trip back from Hong Kong to Hua Du

A little different to bus trips in Australia but only because we had to cross a boarder and change the side of the road upon we drove (Hong Kong being Ex British drive on the left where as in China they drive on the right  just like America).

At this time in China there was no “ETC” (Electronic Toll Collection) but their major roads between towns are toll roads and the toll is paid on the distance you travel along these roads, the further you drive the more you pay, to calculate the amount of toll you are to pay, drivers are given a token or card when the stop at the entrance of the toll road which they hand to the toll collector when the leave the toll road, this allows the collector to charge the correct toll. (This system is still in place for those who do not have an ETC account, I can just imagine Sydney drivers on the M7/M2 putting up with this)
