Gleesons Landing
Moved on from Marion Bay and onto the next bush camp it was to be Daly Head, but I again fell foul of the limited (Almost no) signs and missed the turn off this was not so bad as the next bush camp is in sight of Daly Head so I am at Gleeson Landing with you might say a good view, (bring on the sunset) looking toward Port Lincoln across Spencer Gulf.
When I first arrived it was a little disappointing as it was crowded and all the good sites were taken, but then I noticed that people were packing up as this is Sunday and people had to return home for work, I noticed a site in a good location was about to become vacant time to wait.
This spot was partially protected but yet still gave me a view of the water and sunsets.
Gleesons Landing is the 2nd last of my permit Bush Camps yet it is close enough to places like Corny Point, followed by The Gap
it is also where I found out that Robyn and Alan were at the start of the Yorke Peninsula not far from my first bush camp just a short drive cross country so time for a visit.
My next stop is Port Pirie planning to stay in a caravan park on a powered site as the temperature is rising forecast is high 30’s and as such I may want to use the air-conditioning.
