Eucla
(Nullarbor Days three and Four)
After exploring the bits and pieces near the van, I set off down the escarpment to where the old telegraph office was, only to find that this historic building was not only being consumed by the dunes (the reason it was abandoned) and partly demolished to recycle the building material, it had also been vandalised by people who thought their graffiti would be appreciated by others
(Note it is not appreciated so please go back and clean it off).
The old Telegraph Station
Continuing along the sandy bush track takes you to the beach and the old Eucla Jetty, which is slowly decaying and at this rate will soon be gone ☹.
What is left of the Ceduna Pier
I also took time to explore the area between the dunes and the ocean
