Silverton

We did not stop in town but proceeded to Umberumbera Reservoir, just beyond Mundi Mundi Lookout, to do a little exploring, we were expecting more people to be there but we had the place to ourselves it seems not to be a popular place maybe because it is 9km beyond Silverton but we thought the visit worthwhile.

Heading back to Silverton we stopped at the Mundi Mundi Lookout and while there is not much there Just the flat Mundi Mundi Plain with the Flinders Ranges In the distance the colours on the plain were stunning because of all the plants growing with the recent rains, would have been a great place to photograph the sunset, if we were staying at Silverton (too dangerous to drive back to the Hill after Sunset with the amount of wildlife and stock that could be on the road)
